Observations
- we have noticed our water infiltration has improved on our land
- our organic matter has increased by .5 to 1 %
- our veterinary bills have dropped dramatically as the cattle benefit from diverse diets (cover crops etc)
- our need for synthetic fertilizer has dropped and our profit has increased
- We have plenty of wildlife, way too many moose and deer. They love to be on our land , we are one of the few farms in the area that hasn't cleared every marsh, or trees. The birds are more diverse as well since we started in 2015
How to buy
- we sell honey at our local farmers market and are looking at possibly expanding to grass-fed beef in the future
