On october 23, 2019, our founder Gabrielle Bastien was invited to talk about soil health and regenerative agriculture on Mâche-patate, a podcast by Urbainculteurs.
“Did you know that one teaspoon of healthy soil contains more microorganisms than there are humans on earth? Soil is a little-known ecosystem that we rarely think about. It plays multiple roles whose importance is no longer in question: purification of air and water, production of food and fiber for our clothes, source of minerals… Its role as a carbon sequesterer can even help us mitigate climate change. But for that, we need healthy soils. And that’s where regenerative practices in agriculture come in!”
