The biodynamic wines of Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards

Rachel Lightfoot | Michael Lightfoot2024-02-02

Discover Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards, in Nova Scotia, where the Lightfoot family nurtures nearly 40 acres of grapevines for biodynamic wine production!

The land of Lightfoot & Wolfville also operates as a working farm, growing ingredients for the winery’s farm-to-table restaurant. The integration of animals, like Rachel Lightfoot's beloved flock of Olde English Southdown sheep, helps maintain agroecosystem health through the grazing of weeds and on-site production of manure for fertility.
